Zafa Sahrawi vs Saad Khalaf

Boxing Daily Report from the Chitambo Promotions promoted show at Azam Rassi Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 04/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zafa Sahrawi (5 - 16 - 1) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Saad Khalaf(29(4) - 9(3) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Dubai, UAE.  Sahrawi weighed in at 154 pounds And 12 ounces, while Khalaf weighed in at 154 pounds.    As Sahrawi came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Basri, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Barkett, Zafa Azzam and Shayan Hakimi.  

Round 1: 

Khalaf closes the distance.  Sahrawi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Khalaf lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Khalaf drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sahrawi dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Sahrawi.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Khalaf is looking to close the distance and walks Sahrawi down, trapping him on the ropes.  Khalaf drives a left hook into Sahrawi's body.  
Khalaf sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Khalaf steps inside.  Khalaf quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sahrawi throws a left hook, but Khalaf clinches his opponent.  Khalaf is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Khalaf to stop fouling.  
Sahrawi throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Khalaf lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sahrawi steps inside.  Khalaf lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Khalaf clinches his opponent.  Khalaf uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sahrawi behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Sahrawi tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Khalaf is looking to force the stoppage!  Khalaf lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES SAHRAWI!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Sahrawi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Khalaf digs in a sharp left hook to Sahrawi's body.  SAHRAWI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Sahrawi almost instantly recovers. 
Khalaf manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Khalaf lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Khalaf lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS SAHRAWI!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Khalaf!
