Nicandro Pico vs Xavier Tesoro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Guadalupe Segura, Guadalupe,  taking place on 06/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nicandro Pico (10(7) - 1) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Xavier Tesoro(30(2) - 4(2)) from Chipancingo, Mexico.  Pico weighed in at 140 pounds, while Tesoro weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Salome, and the three ringside judges are Montel Pintado, Angel Capistran and Emanuel Yanez.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pico dabs at his face checking for damage.  Pico has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
