Michael Connor vs Callum Swain

Boxing Daily Report from the Simuunza Promotions promoted show at Minneapolis Clingan, Minneapolis,  taking place on 05/03/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Connor (31 - 5 - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Callum Swain(15 - 13 - 4) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Connor and Swain weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Pelle, and the three ringside judges are Phil Bertel, Harry Streblow and Robert Westlund.  

Round 1: 

Connor is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Connor pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Swain tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Connor steps inside.  Connor lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Connor closes the distance.  Connor lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connor dabs at his face checking for damage.

Connor attempts to land a left hook, but Swain blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
