Boxing Daily Report from the GBWH Promotions promoted show at Halle Georges Carpentier, Paris,  taking place on 05/04/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sezni Starving Marvingt (16(15) - 2(1)) who hails from Angers, France and Fletcher St. Marie(25(4) - 8(3)) from Brest, France.  Marvingt weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces, while St. Marie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeffrey Lizarazu, and the three ringside judges are Verity de Musset, Hackett Canet and Lionel Cendrars.  

Round 1: 

Marvingt hits home with a spiteful jab.

St. Marie is on target with a cross.  
St. Marie is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Marvingt ties up his opponent.  Marvingt pushes his forearm into St. Marie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Marvingt to stop fouling.  
St. Marie is looking to close the distance.  Marvingt pivots from in front of his opponent.  St. Marie throws a right hook, but Marvingt clinches his opponent.  Marvingt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Marvingt throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Marvingt ties up his opponent.  Marvingt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, St. Marie pushes his forearm into Marvingt's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures St. Marie about fouling.  
St. Marie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marvingt tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Marvingt switches the action to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Marvingt drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  St. Marie lands a cross.  St. Marie throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a spiteful right uppercut to St. Marie's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ST. MARIE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
St. Marie steps inside.  Some sustained pressure from Marvingt could be enough to finish St. Marie!  Marvingt crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  ST. MARIE IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Marvingt digs in a weighty left uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES ST. MARIE!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Marvingt tries to keep the action at long range.  Marvingt lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND ST. MARIE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  St. Marie now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
