Amer Iqbal vs Leeroy McGowan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Richie Akins Gym, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 07/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Utah Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Iqbal (3 - 0 - 1) who hails from Salt Lake City, USA and Leeroy McGowan(2 - 5) from West Valley City, USA.  Iqbal weighed in at 140 pounds, while McGowan weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Burke, and the three ringside judges are Justin Lloyd, Arran Doyle and Justin Lloyd.  

Round 1: 

Iqbal gets on the inside.  McGowan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McGowan throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Iqbal forces McGowan to retreat into the red corner.  Iqbal sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Iqbal digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McGowan hits home with a right uppercut.
