Clint Lockard vs Hugh Ardrey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Beamers Nightclub, Dallas,  taking place on 07/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clint Lockard (18 - 13 - 3) who hails from Austin, USA and Hugh Ardrey(9 - 9 - 2) from Austin, USA.  Both Lockard and Ardrey weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Mairs, and the three ringside judges are Chris Suit, Ellis Girvan and Sammy Blythe.  

Round 1: 

Lockard steps to the outside.  Ardrey throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lockard switches the action to the outside.  Ardrey finds the target with a jab.  
Lockard walks Ardrey down, trapping him in the corner.  Lockard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Lockard closes the distance.  Lockard pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Lockard pivots to the left of his opponent andArdrey wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lockard has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
