Sean Meredith vs Paul Liddle

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Providence Stadium, Georgetown,  taking place on 05/04/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guyana Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sean Meredith (15(7) - 3(3) - 3) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Paul Liddle(23(2) - 7(2)) from Linden, Guyana.  Both Meredith and Liddle weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Rankin, and the three ringside judges are Dom Seeton, Malcolm Glendinning and Leeroy Work.  

Round 1:

Liddle tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE LIDDLE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Liddle is looking to close the distance.  Meredith senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Meredith lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND LIDDLE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Meredith switches the action to the outside.  Meredith lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head, AND DOWN GOES LIDDLE!  He manages to get up at 9.  Liddle now seems to have his senses back.  
Liddle steps inside.  Meredith throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Meredith is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Meredith hits home with a cross.  
Liddle advances into close range and forces Meredith to retreat onto the ropes.  Liddle digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Liddle pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Meredith is looking to keep his distance.  Liddle drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Meredith lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Liddle recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Liddle throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Meredith steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Liddle sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.

Liddle steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Liddle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Meredith lands a sharp left hook.  
Liddle pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Meredith steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Meredith lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.
