Montrell Deumi vs Hideki Shoda

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Sun Square Sakai, Sakai,  taking place on 19/03/2036:

Clearly Japanese Boxing Federation have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montrell Deumi (32(29) - 0) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Hideki Shoda(17(1) - 3(1) - 2) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Deumi and Shoda weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Matsunaga, and the three ringside judges are Aoi Ohno, Satoru Muraoka and Daichi Koga.  

Round 1: 

Deumi hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Deumi connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Deumi lands a jab.  
Deumi steps to the outside.  Shoda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Shoda tries to land a cross, but Deumi sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Shoda steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Deumi steps to the outside.  Shoda attempts to land a jab, but Deumi sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut to Shoda's body.  
Shoda connects with a right hook.  
Shoda pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Shoda pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Deumi lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shoda advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Shoda hits home with a left hook.  
Shoda steps inside.  Shoda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Deumi hits home with a powerful left hook.  SHODA IS HURT!  
Shoda manages to force Deumi onto the ropes.  Shoda could be stopped here, if Deumi can find the right shot!  Deumi lands a cross, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SHODA!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Shoda now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Deumi lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Deumi steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Shoda steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Deumi lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Shoda quickly recovers. 
Deumi lands a right hook.  
Deumi digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Deumi steps to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Deumi throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Deumi is on target with a firm cross.  
Shoda steps inside.  Deumi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a sharp right hook to Shoda's body.  
Shoda advances into close range.  Deumi lands a left hook.  
Deumi switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Deumi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Shoda's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Deumi lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Deumi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Deumi is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Deumi lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Shoda lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Deumi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Shoda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Shoda throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Shoda closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Deumi holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Deumi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The referee warns Deumi and breaks the clinch.  Deumi throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Deumi switches the action to the outside and is on target with a SAVAGE cross.  SHODA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Shoda almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Deumi lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Shoda is looking to close the distance and manages to force Deumi onto the ropes.  Deumi is on target with a right hook to Shoda's ribcage.  Deumi attempts to land a left hook, but Shoda sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Shoda steps inside and walks Deumi onto the ropes.  Shoda throws a right hook, but Deumi clinches his opponent.  Deumi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Deumi to stop fouling.
