Paul Couch vs Jay Fidler

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Event City, Manchester,  taking place on 03/04/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Dave, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Couch (15(2) - 3) who hails from Doncaster, UK and Jay Fidler(7 - 6 - 4) from London, UK.  Both Couch and Fidler weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Querry, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Litts, Owen Wallace and Rodric Valentine.  

Round 1: 

Couch advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Couch clinches his opponent.  Couch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Couch sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fidler throws a left hook, but Couch ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Couch pushes his forearm into Fidler's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Couch.  
Couch drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Couch closes the distance and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Couch lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Couch steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Couch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Couch is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Fidler pivots to the left of his opponent.  Couch is on target with a firm cross to Fidler's body.  
Couch closes the distance and drives a solid right hook into Fidler's ribcage.  
Couch closes the distance and slams a big right hook into Fidler's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE FIDLER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Fidler quickly recovers. 
Couch lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Couch lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Couch lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Couch clinches his opponent.  Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Fidler wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Couch.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Couch forces Fidler to back into the ropes.  Couch lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Couch lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Couch lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Couch steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Couch quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Couch is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Couch advances into close range.  Couch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Couch gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Fidler's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Fidler's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Fidler's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Couch lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Couch forces Fidler to back into the blue corner.  Couch digs in a stinging left uppercut to Fidler's body.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING FIDLER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Couch is on target with a cross.  It looks like Fidler has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Couch closes the distance and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Fidler's liver.  
Fidler tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.

Couch lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!

He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS FIDLER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5. Couch feints a jab, fooling Fidler into launching a left hook counter.  Couch avoids the shot and counters with a nasty cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE FIDLER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Couch sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Couch lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head, AND SENDS FIDLER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Couch!
