Jonathan Labi vs Inigo Quartey

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Federation promoted show at Accra Zakari, Accra,  taking place on 23/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Labi (9 - 10(1) - 3) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Inigo Quartey(3 - 5(1) - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Labi weighed in at 112 pounds, while Quartey weighed in at 111 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is James Adade, and the three ringside judges are Leighton Kwei, Joe Kessels and Khalid Farooq.  

Round 1: 

Labi steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Labi lands a cross.

Labi advances into close range.  Quartey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent andLabi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Quartey has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the right eye.  
Labi is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.

Labi closes the distance.  Quartey throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
