Augusto Beretta vs Gabriele Vetere

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Catania Grimaldi, Catania,  taking place on 26/03/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Augusto Beretta (9 - 15 - 4) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Gabriele Vetere(13 - 13(1) - 3) from Palermo, Italy.  Beretta weighed in at 112 pounds, while Vetere weighed in at 111 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rocco Galati, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Basini, Gianmarco Folena and Cristiano Borrelli.  

Round 1: 

Beretta goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Vetere time to recover.  
Vetere lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Beretta is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Vetere connects with a cross.  
Vetere advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Beretta ties up his opponent.  Vetere leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Vetere cuts off the ring, trapping Beretta in a corner.  Beretta is on target with a right uppercut.  
Vetere closes the distance.  Beretta sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Vetere pivots to the side of his opponent.  Beretta is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Beretta tries to step out of his opponents range.  Vetere tries to land an overhand right, but Beretta blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
