Amer Naseer vs Giligia Israyelian

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Dens Park Stadium, Dundee,  taking place on 12/04/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from The Kurusu Cup 2036.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Naseer (3 - 12(1) - 3) who hails from San Francisco, USA and Giligia Israyelian(17(14) - 3(2)) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Naseer weighed in at 214 pounds and 7 ounces, while Israyelian weighed in at 249 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adam McConkie, and the three ringside judges are John Gollon, Ian Cameron and Daniel Holme.  

Round 1: 

Israyelian is looking to close the distance.  Israyelian sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Naseer throws a left uppercut, but Israyelian holds on to his opponent.  Israyelian pushes his forearm into Naseer's face.  The referee warns Israyelian and breaks the clinch.  
Israyelian lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Israyelian holds on to his opponent.  Israyelian leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Israyelian walks his opponent into a corner.  Naseer throws a right hook, but Israyelian clinches his opponent.  Naseer leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Israyelian's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Israyelian lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Israyelian lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Israyelian is on target with a solid left hook.  
Israyelian closes the distance and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Israyelian forces Naseer to back into the ropes.  Israyelian snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Israyelian advances into close range and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Israyelian steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Naseer recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Israyelian lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Israyelian closes the distance.  Naseer throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Israyelian drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Naseer throws an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Israyelian advances into close range and walks Naseer into the corner.  Israyelian throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Israyelian ties up his opponent.  Israyelian is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Israyelian lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Israyelian lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES NASEER!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Naseer almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Israyelian lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Israyelian holds on to his opponent.  Israyelian leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Israyelian lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Naseer attempts to land a right hook, but Israyelian sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Naseer steps away from his opponent.  Israyelian lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Israyelian throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Israyelian ties up his opponent.  Israyelian is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Israyelian forces Naseer to retreat onto the ropes.  Israyelian pivots from in front of his opponent.  As Naseer tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Israyelian dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Naseer attempts to land a left hook, but Israyelian sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Israyelian lands a solid left hook.  
Israyelian walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Israyelian drives a solid right uppercut into Naseer's ribs.  
Israyelian is on target with a right hook to Naseer's body.

Israyelian forces Naseer to retreat onto the ropes.  Israyelian connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Naseer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Naseer's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Israyelian lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, DROPPING NASEER TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Israyelian lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.
