James Pollock vs Hugh Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 10/05/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Pollock (10(6) - 0) who hails from St. Petersburg, USA and Hugh Burns(19 - 18(11)) from New York City, USA.  Pollock weighed in at 140 pounds, while Burns weighed in at 139 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Corse, and the three ringside judges are Leo Couch, Arran Huntress and Xaverius Vea.  

Round 1: 

Pollock lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pollock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a firm right hook.  
Pollock closes the distance and is on target with a solid right hook to Burns's body.  
Pollock tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pollock lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Pollock steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Burns almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pollock feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Burns throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Pollock lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Pollock steps away from his opponent.  Pollock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Pollock pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Pollock is looking to keep his distance.  Pollock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Pollock attempts to land a jab, but Burns dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Burns forces Pollock to retreat into a corner.  Pollock is on target with a firm cross.  
Pollock tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head.

Round 2: 

Pollock closes the distance.  Pollock wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burns dabs at his face checking for damage.  Burns has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Pollock tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Burns sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pollock connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Burns walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Burns quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pollock lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Burns pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pollock is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Pollock steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Pollock is on target with a jab.  
Pollock steps to the outside.  Pollock sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Pollock lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Pollock sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Pollock throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pollock drives a firm jab into Burns's body.

Pollock gets on the inside.  Pollock pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pollock lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Pollock clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pollock pushes his forearm into Burns's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Pollock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a potent cross.  BURNS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Burns almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pollock hits home with a cross.  
Pollock tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pollock walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Pollock finds the target with a jab.  
Pollock lands a stiff jab.  
Pollock is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Burns attempts to land an overhand right, but Pollock dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Pollock quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Burns almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Pollock lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Pollock is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Pollock feints a left, and then lands a jab.  
Pollock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Burns throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Pollock lands a ramrod jab.  
Pollock switches the action to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Pollock feints a jab, and then is on target with a HUGE cross.  BURNS IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT BURNS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Pollock!
