Angel Lujano vs Luis Cuaresma

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Gimnasio Nacional, San Jose,  taking place on 21/03/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Angel Lujano (0 - 0) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Luis Cuaresma(0 - 3 - 1) from Apopa, El Salvador.  Both Lujano and Cuaresma weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tadzio Karp, and the three ringside judges are Pancho Marroquin, Xabat Velez and Neron Munoz.  

Round 1: 

Lujano steps inside and digs in a right hook to Cuaresma's body.  Lujano holds on to his opponent.  Lujano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lujano to stop fouling.  
Lujano gets on the inside.  Cuaresma throws a right hook, but Lujano ties up his opponent.  Lujano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lujano lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lujano walks Cuaresma down, trapping him in the red corner.  Cuaresma throws a left hook, but Lujano ties up his opponent.  Lujano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lujano lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cuaresma is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lujano is on target with a firm cross.

Cuaresma tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Lujano closes the distance and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lujano closes the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents liver.  Lujano holds on to his opponent.  Lujano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lujano lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lujano drives a left hook into Cuaresma's body.  
Lujano is on target with a right hook to Cuaresma's body.  
Lujano closes the distance.  Cuaresma drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Cuaresma is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lujano finds the target with a jab.  
Lujano gets on the inside.  Lujano lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Lujano wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cuaresma dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Cuaresma.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Lujano lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lujano lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Lujano digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.

Cuaresma tries to keep the action at long range.  Lujano stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Cuaresma throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lujano gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Lujano lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lujano gets on the inside.  Lujano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lujano lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Lujano clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lujano pushes his forearm into Cuaresma's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lujano.  
Lujano digs in a left uppercut to Cuaresma's ribs.  Lujano clinches his opponent.  Cuaresma is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Lujano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lujano advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Lujano holds on to his opponent.  Lujano tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cuaresma's kidney. Lujano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Lujano to stop holding.  
Lujano manouvers Cuaresma onto the ropes.  Lujano lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Lujano advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lujano is looking to close the distance and manages to force Cuaresma into a corner.  Lujano lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lujano hits home with a right uppercut.  
Lujano lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cuaresma is looking to keep his distance.  Lujano lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cuaresma's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cuaresma's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Lujano gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Lujano lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cuaresma almost instantly recovers.
