Diego Melena vs Brett Sheron

Boxing Daily Report from the International Boxing Fight League promoted show at Palladium Ballroom, Dallas,  taking place on 26/04/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Melena (20(1) - 0) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Brett Sheron(18 - 18(3) - 4) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Both Melena and Sheron weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Marrufo, and the three ringside judges are Brett Sproule, Spencer Aurelio and Zachary Crofoot.  

Round 1: 

Sheron is looking to keep his distance.  Melena contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Sheron tries to land an overhand right, but Melena sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Melena lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Melena connects with a cross.  
Melena is looking to close the distance.  Melena backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Sheron steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Sheron throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Melena steps inside.  Sheron quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Melena lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Melena ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Melena pushes his forearm into Sheron's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Melena steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Melena clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Melena's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Melena lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Sheron connects with a cross.  
Melena advances into close range.  Sheron sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sheron throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
