Gan Zhe vs Hisoka Araki

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai,  taking place on 03/05/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gan Zhe (15(10) - 3) who hails from Fuyang, China and Hisoka Araki(13 - 2(1)) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Zhe and Araki weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quon Pen, and the three ringside judges are Genjo Hauw, Yuan Be and HuiK'o Ern.  

Round 1: 

Araki gets on the inside.  Araki pivots to the right of his opponent.  Araki attempts to land a left uppercut, but Zhe slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Araki manouvers Zhe into the corner.  Araki pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Araki sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Zhe digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Araki sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Araki is on target with a left hook.  Araki throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Araki's ribs.  
Zhe slams a nasty right uppercut into his opponents body.  ARAKI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Araki recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Zhe drives a firm right uppercut into Araki's body.  
Araki steps inside.  Araki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Araki hits home with a right hook.  
Araki manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Araki is on target with a left uppercut.  
Zhe is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Zhe is looking to close the distance.  Zhe stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Zhe lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ARAKI!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Zhe switches the action to the outside.  Zhe lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ARAKI!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Araki has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Araki is looking to keep his distance and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Araki lands a stinging jab.  
Zhe is on target with a stinging cross.  
Zhe lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zhe's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Araki's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Zhe steps away from his opponent.  Araki tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Zhe advances into close range.  Araki throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Zhe steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Zhe tries to keep the action at long range.  Araki lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Araki advances into close range.  Zhe lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Araki manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Zhe lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Araki almost instantly recovers. 
Araki lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Araki gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Araki gets on the inside.  Zhe tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Araki advances into close range and drives a left hook into Zhe's body.

Araki forces Zhe to back into the ropes.  Araki pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Araki hits home with a firm left hook.  
Zhe steps inside.  Araki sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zhe drives a forceful right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  ARAKI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Araki recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Araki switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Zhe slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Zhe lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Araki steps inside.  Some sustained pressure from Zhe could be enough to finish Araki!  Zhe lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING ARAKI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Zhe is on target with a forceful right hook to Araki's ribs.  ARAKI IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT ARAKI CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Zhe!
