Sam Kenrick vs William Dow

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Wollongong Showground, Wollongong,  taking place on 10/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Seven, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Kenrick (29(14) - 5(1)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and William Dow(20(12) - 6(3) - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Kenrick and Dow weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Campbell, and the three ringside judges are Sid Galkin, Ethan Capelli and Jack Muffett.  

Round 1: 

Kenrick gets on the inside.  Dow hits home with a right uppercut.  
Kenrick sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Kenrick gets on the inside and drives a forceful left hook into Dow's liver.  DOW WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Dow quickly recovers. 
Kenrick pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kenrick lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kenrick manouvers Dow onto the ropes.  Kenrick lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
As Kenrick tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Dow.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Dow hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Kenrick forces Dow to back into the ropes.  Kenrick sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Kenrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dow hits home with a right hook.  
Kenrick tries to land a cross, but Dow sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Dow steps away from his opponent.  Dow feints a right, and then hits home with a stinging overhand left.  
Dow attempts to land a jab, but Kenrick blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kenrick closes the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Dow tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Kenrick is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kenrick tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dow lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kenrick is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Dow attempts to land a right hook, but Kenrick blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful left hook to Dow's body.  DOW WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Dow recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kenrick is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Dow's body.  
Kenrick attempts to land a left uppercut, but Dow sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Dow lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Dow throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kenrick advances into close range.  Kenrick sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dow hits home with a solid left hook.  Dow attempts to land a left hook, but Kenrick parries the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Kenrick lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Dow almost instantly recovers. 
Dow drives a right uppercut into Kenrick's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dow's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Dow's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
