Angel Tax vs Zenon Balasco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Santo Domingo promoted show at Santo Domingo Bilbao, Santo Domingo,  taking place on 22/04/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Santo Domingo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Tax (19 - 15(6) - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo, Ecuador and Zenon Balasco(10(8) - 0) from Santo Domingo, Ecuador.  Tax weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Balasco weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Pico, and the three ringside judges are Jose Pico, Juan Cabanilla and Lisandro Cadenas.  

Round 1: 

Balasco feints a left, and then digs in a firm right hook to Tax's body.  
Tax steps inside.  Balasco sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Balasco throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Balasco holds on to his opponent.  Balasco is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Balasco pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Tax lands a left hook.  Balasco ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Balasco pushes his forearm into Tax's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tax gets on the inside.  Balasco pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Balasco is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Balasco is looking to close the distance.  Balasco lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Balasco ties up his opponent.  Balasco pushes his forearm into Tax's face.  The referee warns Balasco and breaks the clinch.  
Tax throws a left uppercut, but Balasco holds on to his opponent.  Balasco leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Balasco gets on the inside.  Balasco voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Tax is whaling away with hooks, but Balasco keeps his defence tight.  
Balasco lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Balasco is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tax lands a cross.  
Balasco lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Tax gets on the inside.  Balasco lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Balasco steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Balasco lands a right hook.  Balasco attempts to land a right hook, but Tax parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tax throws a right hook, but Balasco clinches his opponent.  Balasco leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Balasco lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tax recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Balasco is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tax's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Tax's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Tax's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Tax's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Balasco is looking to close the distance.  Balasco thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Tax away.  Balasco EXPLODES a MASSIVE left hook into his opponents face.  TAX IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Tax now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
