Atif Maududi vs Sajid Mahdavi

Boxing Daily Report from the Kimmula Promotions promoted show at Karaj Jou, Karaj,  taking place on 24/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Alborz Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Atif Maududi (16 - 19(1) - 6) who hails from Karaj, Iran and Sajid Mahdavi(13 - 8 - 1) from Karaj, Iran.  Both Maududi and Mahdavi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sajid Amber, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Mattar, Gazi Omar and Tariq Hariri.  

Round 1: 

Mahdavi advances into close range.  Maududi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mahdavi accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Maududi.
