Sierra Torres vs Pablo Ceron

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Pabexpo Exhibition Complex, Havana,  taking place on 07/06/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Torres (12(4) - 0) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Pablo Ceron(21 - 17(1) - 4) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Torres weighed in at 238 pounds and 9 ounces, while Ceron weighed in at 258 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Limas, and the three ringside judges are Saturnin Milan, Ulises Lagos and Juan Henriquez.  

Round 1:

Ceron advances into close range.  Torres lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Torres clinches his opponent.  Ceron pushes his forearm into Torres's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Torres switches the action to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Torres hits home with a stinging jab.  
Torres switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Torres feints a left hook, and then lands a jab.

Torres feints a jab, fooling Ceron into throwing a right hook counter.  Torres springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Ceron steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but Torres holds on to his opponent.  Ceron is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ceron about fouling.

Ceron walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Torres finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ceron's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Ceron's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ceron's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Ceron is looking to close the distance.  Torres lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Torres holds on to his opponent.  Torres uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ceron behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Torres.
