Jose Mancillas vs Hernan Salamanca

Boxing Daily Report from the Nicky Bonds promoted show at Santa Laura Universidad SEK, Santiago,  taking place on 24/05/2036:

Clearly Nicky Bonds have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South American Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Mancillas (26(22) - 0) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Hernan Salamanca(20(1) - 13(12)) from Medellin, Colombia.  Mancillas weighed in at 122 pounds, while Salamanca weighed in at 121 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cruz Fonseca, and the three ringside judges are Ora Silvera, Joaquin Estopinal and Alejandro Aguiniga.  

Round 1: 

Salamanca lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Mancillas is on target with a cross.  
Salamanca steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Mancillas throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Mancillas clinches his opponent.  Salamanca pushes his forearm into Mancillas's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Salamanca about fouling.  
Mancillas stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Salamanca lands with a spiteful jab.  
Mancillas lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Mancillas attempts to land an overhand right, but Salamanca dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Salamanca lands a firm cross.  
Salamanca steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Salamanca lands a stinging right hook.  Mancillas clinches his opponent.  Salamanca leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mancillas is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Salamanca finds the target with a jab.  
Salamanca is looking to close the distance.  Mancillas lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Mancillas throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Salamanca lands a firm cross.  Salamanca attempts to land a jab, but Mancillas slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Mancillas is on target with a firm overhand right.  
Mancillas steps away from his opponent and hits home with a solid cross.  
Mancillas throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Mancillas clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mancillas pushes his forearm into Salamanca's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mancillas.  
Salamanca connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Mancillas ties up his opponent.  Salamanca leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Salamanca lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Mancillas holds on to his opponent.  Salamanca leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mancillas switches the action to the outside.  Mancillas feints a cross, and then lands a BRUTAL overhand right.  IT LOOKS LIKE SALAMANCA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Salamanca advances into close range.  Salamanca could be stopped here, if Mancillas can find the right shot!  Mancillas lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING SALAMANCA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.

Salamanca sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mancillas throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Mancillas clinches his opponent.  Salamanca is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mancillas is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a firm cross.  
Salamanca lands with a hard jab.  
Salamanca attempts to land a cross, but Mancillas sidesteps and counters with a hurtful right hook.  SALAMANCA IS HURT!  
Salamanca is looking to close the distance and manages to force Mancillas onto the ropes.  Mancillas thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Salamanca away.  Mancillas lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS SALAMANCA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Mancillas steps away from his opponent.  Mancillas lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SALAMANCA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Salamanca now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Mancillas switches the action to the outside and lands a solid cross.  
Salamanca walks Mancillas onto the ropes.  Mancillas tries to land a left hook, but Salamanca slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Salamanca lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mancillas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mancillas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Salamanca attempts to land an overhand left, but Mancillas sidesteps and counters with a DEVASTATING right uppercut.  SALAMANCA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mancillas!
