Macario Mario vs Zelipe Amaya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Buenos Aires promoted show at La Plata Borgo, La Plata,  taking place on 24/04/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Buenos Aires Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Mario (11 - 12(1) - 5) who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and Zelipe Amaya(13 - 10 - 6) from Bahía Blanca, Argentina.  Mario weighed in at 135 pounds, while Amaya weighed in at 134 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Roman Flores, and the three ringside judges are Angel Pacifico, Santiago Barrios and Jose Mazo.  

Round 1: 

Amaya drives a right hook into Mario's ribcage.  
Mario steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Amaya sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Mario's liver.  
Amaya hits home with a right hook.

Amaya attempts to land a jab, but Mario blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mario switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Amaya is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mario wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Amaya dabs at his face checking for damage.  Amaya has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Amaya steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Amaya feints a jab and triggers a right uppercut counter from Mario.  Amaya springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mario's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Amaya's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
