Felippe Carcamo vs Joaquin Abril

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Estadio Independecia, Managua,  taking place on 31/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Felippe Carcamo (10(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, Argentina and Joaquin Abril(5 - 13(3) - 3) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Carcamo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Abril weighed in at 147 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Albarran, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Galea, Gig Rave and Aimon Cortinas.  

Round 1: 

Carcamo lands with a solid jab.  
Carcamo closes the distance.  Abril throws a right uppercut, but Carcamo clinches his opponent.  Carcamo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carcamo steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Abril tries to tag Carcamo on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Carcamo tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Abril is on target with a jab.  Abril throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Carcamo is on target with a cross.  
Carcamo closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carcamo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abril switches the action to the outside.  Carcamo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Carcamo steps to the outside and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Carcamo closes the distance.  Abril quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carcamo lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Carcamo clinches his opponent.  Abril pushes his forearm into Carcamo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abril.  
Carcamo lands a left hook.  Carcamo tries to land a left hook, but Abril blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carcamo gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Carcamo lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Abril almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Abril pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carcamo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Abril is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Carcamo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Carcamo hits home with an overhand right.  
Carcamo is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Carcamo hits home with a solid left hook.  
Abril throws a left hook, but Carcamo holds on to his opponent.  Carcamo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Carcamo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Abril quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carcamo lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.

Carcamo closes the distance.  Abril sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abril tries to land a right hook, but Carcamo sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Carcamo lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Abril attempts to land a right uppercut, but Carcamo sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Carcamo closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  Carcamo clinches his opponent.  Carcamo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Abril behind the head. As they grapple, Carcamo pushes his forearm into Abril's face.  The referee warns Carcamo and breaks the clinch.  
Carcamo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Abril quickly recovers.

Abril pivots to the right of his opponent.  Carcamo whips in a spiteful left hook to Abril's body.  ABRIL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.
