Dave Zwane vs Kofi Sotyu

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghenyan Promotions promoted show at Port Elizabeth Govender, Port Elizabeth,  taking place on 02/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Zwane (15 - 9 - 1) who hails from iBhayi, South Africa and Kofi Sotyu(13(1) - 3) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Zwane weighed in at 140 pounds, while Sotyu weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Themba Cele, and the three ringside judges are Musa Majola, Puleng Bungu and Dele Hlatshwayo.  

Round 1: 

Sotyu steps inside.  Zwane attempts to land a left hook, but Sotyu blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Sotyu pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stiff jab.  
Sotyu gets on the inside and manouvers Zwane into a corner.  Sotyu throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Sotyu holds on to his opponent.  Sotyu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sotyu advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Sotyu steps inside.  Sotyu digs in a left hook to Zwane's body.  As Zwane tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sotyu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Zwane hits home with an overhand left.  
Zwane connects with an overhand left.  
Sotyu steps inside and drives a solid left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Zwane steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.
