Xaverius Poma vs Lloyd Pyper

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Staples Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 26/04/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xaverius Poma (2(1) - 0) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Lloyd Pyper(5 - 0) from Honolulu, USA.  Both Poma and Pyper weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hyland, and the three ringside judges are Seth Coria, Greg Blanco and James Kay.  

Round 1: 

Poma pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Poma gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Pyper waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Poma is on target with a sharp cross.  
Poma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pyper finds the target with a jab.  
Pyper steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Pyper's body.  
Pyper pivots to the left of his opponent.  Poma lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pyper almost instantly recovers. 
Pyper attempts to land a cross, but Poma slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Poma quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Poma sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.

Poma pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pyper attempts to land a right hook, but Poma slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Pyper attempts to land a cross, but Poma blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Poma pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Poma attempts to land a jab, but Pyper blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Poma voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Pyper tries to tag Poma on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!
