Aoi Obara vs Hisao Hirano

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Edogawa Stadium, Tokyo,  taking place on 03/05/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aoi Obara (32(23) - 10(6)) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Hisao Hirano(22 - 13(1) - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Obara and Hirano weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Arima, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Ide, Hisoka Yamamoto and Satoru Takayama.  

Round 1: 

Obara steps inside.  Obara pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Obara is on target with a left uppercut.  
Obara is on target with a cross.  
Obara closes the distance.  Hirano throws a left hook, but Obara ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Obara pushes his forearm into Hirano's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Obara about fouling.  
Obara connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Obara gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  Obara holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Obara pushes his forearm into Hirano's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Obara is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Hirano's body.  
Obara walks his opponent into a corner.  Obara connects with a solid left uppercut.  Obara ties up his opponent.  Obara leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Obara cuts off the ring, trapping Hirano in a corner.  Obara lands a cross.

Hirano tries to land a left hook, but Obara blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Obara gets on the inside.  Obara sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Obara lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Obara holds on to his opponent.  Obara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Obara pushes his forearm into Hirano's face.  The referee warns Obara and breaks the clinch.  
Obara hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Obara gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Obara lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Obara ties up his opponent.  Obara is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Obara lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Obara forces Hirano to back into the corner.  Obara lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hirano's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Obara lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hirano almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Obara connects with a sharp right hook.  Obara throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Obara lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Obara clinches his opponent.  Obara hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hirano finds the target with a jab.  
Hirano attempts to land a jab, but Obara blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Obara gets on the inside and connects with a solid left hook.  
Obara finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Obara steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Obara steps to the outside.  Obara stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Obara digs in a weighty right uppercut to his opponents body.  HIRANO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Hirano has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Obara lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Obara feints a cross, and then hits home with a cross.  
Hirano walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Obara goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Hirano's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Obara lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Obara steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Obara lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hirano switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Obara is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Obara lands a solid right hook.  
Obara is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Obara pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Obara SLAMS a BRUTAL left hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE HIRANO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Hirano almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hirano's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Hirano's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
