Ian Tinkler vs Tobias McCaig

Boxing Daily Report from the Kugblenu Promotions promoted show at Detroit Litts, Detroit,  taking place on 04/05/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Tinkler (21(11) - 0) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and Tobias McCaig(2 - 11 - 2) from Detroit, USA.  Tinkler weighed in at 147 pounds, while McCaig weighed in at 147 pounds and 11 ounces.    As McCaig came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mike Craig, and the three ringside judges are Chris Pakkarinen, Lewis Chiens and Jacob Herritt.  

Round 1: 

Tinkler steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Tinkler holds on to his opponent.  Tinkler uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McCaig behind the head. As they grapple, Tinkler pushes his forearm into McCaig's face.  The ref breaks Tinkler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tinkler clinches his opponent.  Tinkler leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tinkler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tinkler about fouling.
