Dave Gash vs Jack Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Cowboys promoted show at Austin Nourse, Austin,  taking place on 06/05/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Gash (5 - 8 - 2) who hails from El Paso, USA and Jack Hughes(4 - 24(1) - 3) from Austin, USA.  Gash weighed in at 140 pounds, while Hughes weighed in at 140 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Hughes came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Harry Burwick, and the three ringside judges are Mark Maddock, Daniel Canas and Mark Hendrick.

Hughes steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Gash dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
