Michael Durning vs Gethin Barr

Boxing Daily Report from the Jali Promotions promoted show at New Daisy Theater, Memphis,  taking place on 10/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Durning (12(4) - 0) who hails from Worcester, USA and Gethin Barr(5 - 3 - 1) from Lafayette, USA.  Durning weighed in at 199 pounds And 15 ounces, while Barr weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Cranston, and the three ringside judges are Leighton Parry, John Cranston and Jonathan Mill.  

Round 1: 

Barr manouvers Durning onto the ropes.  Durning lands a stinging cross.  
Durning gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Durning lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Durning clinches his opponent.  Durning throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Durning and breaks the clinch.  
Durning is on target with a right hook to Barr's ribs.  Durning ties up his opponent.  Durning leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Durning lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Durning holds on to his opponent.  Durning tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Barr behind the head. 
Durning pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.
