Cody Ewing vs Ian Lowder

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Melbourne Aberyan, Melbourne,  taking place on 03/05/2036:

Clearly No Limit have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Cody Ewing (2 - 0) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Ian Lowder(3 - 2 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Ewing weighed in at 250 pounds and 6 ounces, while Lowder weighed in at 254 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Boner, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Waugh, Gus Mow and Ricky Gebbie.  

Round 1: 

Lowder walks his opponent into the corner.  Ewing throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Lowder's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Ewing closes the distance.  Ewing pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Ewing is looking to close the distance.  Lowder pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lowder throws a right hook, but Ewing holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ewing pushes his forearm into Lowder's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lowder is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ewing hits home with a cross.  
Ewing closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Lowder slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ewing lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

The ref breaks Ewing's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ewing has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Lowder switches the action to the outside.  Ewing lands a jab.  
Ewing quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Ewing throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ewing is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ewing attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Lowder's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ewing's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lowder's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Lowder tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ewing advances into close range.  Lowder throws a right hook, but Ewing holds on to his opponent.  Ewing tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lowder's kidney. Ewing leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lowder sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ewing lands a sharp left hook.  
Ewing lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Lowder pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ewing hits home with a cross.  
Ewing is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

As Ewing tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lowder dabs at his face checking for damage.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lowder's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
