Cuba Cruz vs Hilario Acero

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Villa Deportiva Nacional, Lima,  taking place on 03/05/2036:

Clearly Pacific and Andean Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Cuba Cruz (2 - 0) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Hilario Acero(0 - 0 - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Both Cruz and Acero weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felippe Pedroso, and the three ringside judges are Quito Rufino, Juan Alonso and Frisco Calle.  

Round 1: 

Cruz switches the action to the outside and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Cruz finds the target with a jab.  
Acero steps inside.  Cruz lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Cruz lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND ACERO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Acero is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Cruz!
