Gethin Floyd vs Paul Espey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bahamas-New Providence promoted show at Vince Templeton Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 16/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas-New Providence Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNS, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Floyd (24(5) - 13(4) - 2) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Paul Espey(14 - 15(2) - 5) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Floyd and Espey weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Cairns, and the three ringside judges are Dale Blackley, Dominic Cockburn and John Bannerman.  

Round 1: 

Floyd closes the distance.  Espey pivots to the side of his opponent.  Floyd drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Espey steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Floyd accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Espey.  Floyd lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.
