Cruz Diaz vs Salvador Tapia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Tijuana Urda, Tijuana,  taking place on 15/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cruz Diaz (20(6) - 5) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Salvador Tapia(12 - 10(2) - 4) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Diaz weighed in at 159 pounds and 10 ounces, while Tapia weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marjun Villalpando, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Barrio, Jeraldo Toribio and Fausto Cayetano.
