Matt Curvis vs Kris Christison

Boxing Daily Report from the ALT Promotions promoted show at ALT Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 24/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Matt Curvis (5 - 0) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Kris Christison(4 - 22 - 4) from Hull, UK.  Curvis weighed in at 122 pounds, while Christison weighed in at 121 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Edwyn Brodie, Griffith Batton and Inigo Rury.  

Round 1: 

Curvis gets on the inside.  Christison throws a left hook, but Curvis holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Curvis pushes his forearm into Christison's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Curvis advances into close range.  Curvis pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Christison steps away from his opponent.  Curvis lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Christison switches the action to the outside.  Curvis lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Curvis closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Curvis drives a left hook into Christison's body.  
Curvis is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Curvis pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Curvis forces Christison to back into the corner.  Curvis lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Curvis lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Curvis holds on to his opponent.  Curvis leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Curvis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
As Curvis tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Christison.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Christison throws a left uppercut, but Curvis holds on to his opponent.  Curvis leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Curvis connects with a cross.  
Curvis gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Christison's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Christison's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Christison's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Christison's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
