Quin Melgoza vs Alish Kuliev

Boxing Daily Report from the iQ Boxing Global promoted show at Arena Coliseo, Mexico City,  taking place on 29/05/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quin Melgoza (12(9) - 2(1)) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Alish Kuliev(21 - 7(3) - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Melgoza and Kuliev weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Armendariz, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Arguello, Alejandro Vasquez and Alvino Forero.  

Round 1: 

Melgoza switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Melgoza lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Melgoza lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Kuliev steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a BRUTAL right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE KULIEV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kuliev almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Melgoza lands with a stiff jab.  
Melgoza sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kuliev tries to land a jab, but Melgoza sidesteps and counters with a CRUSHING left hook.  KULIEV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Kuliev is looking to close the distance.  Melgoza knows Kuliev is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Melgoza lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kuliev manouvers Melgoza onto the ropes.  Melgoza lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KULIEV IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Kuliev now seems to have his senses back.  
Melgoza steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kuliev lands with a ramrod jab.  
Melgoza is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Kuliev is on target with a cross.  
Kuliev tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Melgoza parries the shot and counters with a DESTRUCTIVE cross.  KULIEV HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Melgoza!
