Jerrold Vasco vs Haakon Bo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Centre promoted show at Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex, Yaoundé,  taking place on 22/05/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a tournament fight from Cameroon Middleweigh.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jerrold Vasco (12 - 15 - 3) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Haakon Bo(5 - 14 - 1) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  Both Vasco and Bo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Telford Sima, and the three ringside judges are Garrison Adiaba, Launcelot Fouda and Flannery Ngoudjo.  

Round 1: 

Bo throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bo tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vasco tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bo manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Bo is on target with a right uppercut.  
Vasco throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Bo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Vasco closes the distance.  Bo throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Vasco time to recover.  
Vasco hits home with a right uppercut.  
Bo gets on the inside.  Bo pivots to the side of his opponent andVasco wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bo dabs at his face checking for damage.  Bo has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
