Gethin Poku vs Ollie Mayat

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Mashawn Cobbina Gym, Kumasi,  taking place on 23/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Poku (4 - 19(2) - 4) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Ollie Mayat(3 - 0 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Poku weighed in at 130 pounds, while Mayat weighed in at 129 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Siddiqi, and the three ringside judges are Tamarius Ankomah, Mason Attoh and Gethin Nkansah.  

Round 1: 

Poku sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Poku attempts to land a left hook, but Mayat slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
