Atif Kasuri vs Simohamed Laghrissi

Boxing Daily Report from the Chunga Promotions promoted show at Casablanca Kachloul, Casablanca,  taking place on 28/05/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Grand Casablanca Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Atif Kasuri (5 - 10 - 3) who hails from Casablanca, Morocco and Simohamed Laghrissi(1 - 7 - 2) from Casablanca, Morocco.  Both Kasuri and Laghrissi weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Adel, and the three ringside judges are Zaky Alayyashi, Hamdan Elkhalouki and Ziaul-Haq Elidrissi.  

Round 1: 

Kasuri lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kasuri steps inside.  Laghrissi throws a right hook, but Kasuri holds on to his opponent.  Laghrissi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kasuri is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kasuri.

Kasuri is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Laghrissi attempts to land a cross, but Kasuri slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kasuri advances into close range.  Laghrissi throws a left hook, but Kasuri clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kasuri hits home with a right hook.  
Kasuri lands a straight 1 - 2.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kasuri's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Laghrissi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Laghrissi steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kasuri has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kasuri dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kasuri pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.
