John Mein vs Davie Dahmer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Minnesota promoted show at Saint Paul Lindsay, Saint Paul,  taking place on 04/06/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Mein (25(4) - 18(11)) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Davie Dahmer(1 - 1 - 1) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Mein and Dahmer weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Langer, and the three ringside judges are Ian Soderberg, Alastair Cullen and David Scholar.  

Round 1: 

Mein gets on the inside.  Dahmer throws a left uppercut, but Mein ties up his opponent.  Mein leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dahmer is looking to keep his distance.  Mein connects with a cross.  
Mein lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mein steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mein forces Dahmer to retreat into the red corner.  Mein digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Mein holds on to his opponent.  Mein leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mein is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Mein's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
