Joaquin Cerro vs Gonzalo Raymundo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Bayamon Cerrato, Bayamon,  taking place on 26/06/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Cerro (15(9) - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Gonzalo Raymundo(3 - 9(3) - 1) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  Both Cerro and Raymundo weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Castilleja, and the three ringside judges are Ulises Fabela, Guido Bonilla and Eduardo Mallen.  

Round 1: 

Cerro hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Raymundo steps inside.  Cerro hits home with a solid left hook.  Cerro throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cerro lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Cerro lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Cerro switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cerro lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Raymundo advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Raymundo cuts off the ring, trapping Cerro on the ropes.  Cerro lands a left hook.  Cerro holds on to his opponent.  Cerro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Raymundo is looking to close the distance.  Cerro pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cerro is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Raymundo quickly recovers. 
Cerro feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cerro lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Cerro feints a right hook, and then connects with a SAVAGE cross.  RAYMUNDO IS HURT!  Raymundo quickly recovers. 
Raymundo gets on the inside.  Cerro drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Cerro tries to keep the action at long range and lands a sharp cross to Raymundo's body.  
Cerro is on target with a VICIOUS right uppercut.  RAYMUNDO IS HURT!  Raymundo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cerro lands a solid left hook.  
Cerro is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Raymundo is looking to close the distance.  Cerro lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Raymundo forces Cerro to back into the ropes.  Raymundo feints a right hook, and then throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Cerro is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Raymundo recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
