Nicandro Cedano vs Diego Vallejos

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Palacio de los Deportes, Bogota,  taking place on 23/06/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Nicandro Cedano (4(2) - 0) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Diego Vallejos(0 - 5(2)) from Bogota, Colombia.  Cedano weighed in at 140 pounds, while Vallejos weighed in at 139 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Arjona, and the three ringside judges are Montel Bastidas, Xavion Maravilla and Vicente Solar.  

Round 1: 

Vallejos gets on the inside.  Cedano digs in a firm left uppercut to Vallejos's liver.  VALLEJOS IS HURT!  Vallejos quickly recovers. 
Cedano pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cedano attempts to land a left hook, but Vallejos slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cedano connects with a right hook.  
Vallejos throws a right hook, but Cedano holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cedano pushes his forearm into Vallejos's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cedano feints a jab, but Vallejos does not fall for it and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Cedano steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Cedano sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Cedano walks his opponent into a corner.  Cedano pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cedano whips in a spiteful right hook to his opponents ribcage.  VALLEJOS IS HURT!  Cedano clinches his opponent.  Cedano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cedano about fouling.  Vallejos recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cedano pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Vallejos almost instantly recovers. 
Cedano pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Vallejos throws a right uppercut, but Cedano ties up his opponent.  Cedano uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Vallejos's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cedano throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Cedano clinches his opponent.  Cedano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cedano pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cedano lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cedano is looking to close the distance.  Cedano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cedano pivots to the side of his opponent.  Vallejos throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Cedano pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cedano pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into Vallejos's body.  
Cedano pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Cedano steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Vallejos tries to tag Cedano on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Vallejos tries to land a cross, but Cedano slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Cedano is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cedano lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cedano lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS VALLEJOS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Cedano clinches his opponent.  Cedano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Vallejos quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vallejos's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Vallejos's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Vallejos's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
