Bruce Dickson vs Robert Slaight

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 15/06/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Bruce Dickson (7(3) - 0) who hails from Lowell, USA and Robert Slaight(3 - 0) from Tallahassee, USA.  Both Dickson and Slaight weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Burt, and the three ringside judges are Oliver McCleese, Mark Smith and Jack Walsh.  

Round 1: 

Dickson steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dickson throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Dickson ties up his opponent.  Dickson pushes his forearm into Slaight's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dickson about fouling.  
Dickson walks Slaight into a neutral corner.  Dickson drives a left hook into Slaight's ribs.  
Dickson drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Dickson lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dickson is on target with a firm left hook to Slaight's body.  
Dickson is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Slaight is looking to keep his distance.  Dickson lands a straight 1 - 2.

Dickson drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Dickson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dickson lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Dickson lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Slaight recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dickson walks Slaight down, trapping him on the ropes.  Slaight connects with a right hook.  
Dickson lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dickson is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Slaight steps away from his opponent.  Dickson lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Slaight switches the action to the outside.  Dickson hits home with an overhand left.  
Dickson closes the distance.  Dickson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS SLAIGHT TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Slaight quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Slaight's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Slaight's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Dickson gets on the inside.  Slaight throws a left hook, but Dickson ties up his opponent.  Dickson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dickson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dickson throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Dickson clinches his opponent.  Dickson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Slaight pushes his forearm into Dickson's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dickson is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dickson digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Dickson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dickson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Slaight walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Slaight attempts to land a left hook, but Dickson sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Slaight is looking to keep his distance.  Dickson lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Slaight pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Slaight pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Dickson gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Dickson clinches his opponent.  Dickson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Dickson pushes his forearm into Slaight's face.  The referee warns Dickson and breaks the clinch.  
Slaight pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dickson lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Dickson attempts to land a right hook, but Slaight blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dickson walks his opponent into the red corner.  Dickson slams a nasty left uppercut into his opponents liver.  SLAIGHT IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Dickson lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Slaight quickly recovers. 
Dickson lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Slaight steps away from his opponent.  Dickson lands with a sharp jab.  
Dickson is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Slaight's body.  
Dickson closes the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Dickson pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Slaight quickly recovers.

Dickson lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Slaight switches the action to the outside.  Dickson lands a stinging jab.  
Dickson gets on the inside.  Dickson drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Slaight dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Dickson forces Slaight to back into the red corner.  Dickson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND KNOCKS SLAIGHT DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Dickson!
