John Donkin vs Floyd Robie

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 30/08/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Donkin (27(19) - 0) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Floyd Robie(29 - 13(6) - 1) from Vancouver, Canada.  Both Donkin and Robie weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Girardot, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Stephen Morton and Gerard Segalen.  

Round 1: 

Robie is on target with a cross to Donkin's body.

Donkin attempts to land a left hook, but Robie blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Donkin manages to force Robie onto the ropes.  Robie lands a right hook.  
Donkin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Donkin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Donkin tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Donkin's body.  
Robie could be stopped here, if Donkin can find the right shot!  Donkin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING ROBIE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Donkin lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS ROBIE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Robie has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Donkin closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Donkin lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Robie attempts to land a cross, but Donkin sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.

Donkin senses Robie is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Donkin lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND ROBIE IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Donkin!
