Connor Buchannon vs Owen Merrick

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Louisiana promoted show at New Orleans Ippolito, New Orleans,  taking place on 07/09/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Deep South Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Buchannon (25(1) - 3(2)) who hails from Lafayette, USA and Owen Merrick(31(11) - 13(1) - 4) from Lexington, USA.  Buchannon weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces, while Merrick weighed in at 160 pounds.
