Alessandro Giordano vs Leonardo Serafini

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Liguria promoted show at Genoa Alboni, Genoa,  taking place on 07/09/2036:

Clearly AI Italy-Liguria have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Liguria Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alessandro Giordano (6 - 5 - 2) who hails from Genoa, Italy and Leonardo Serafini(16 - 11 - 4) from La Spezia, Italy.  Giordano weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces, while Serafini weighed in at 114 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Benetti, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Bonaccini, Damiano Lamia and Gianni Balotelli.  

Round 1: 

Giordano gets on the inside.  Serafini wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Giordano.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

As Serafini tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Giordano dabs at his face checking for damage.
