Leighton Newman vs Jake Cure

Boxing Daily Report from the Yassa Promotions promoted show at Oliver Benichou Gym, Edmonton,  taking place on 18/09/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Newman (16 - 13 - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Jake Cure(21 - 11(2)) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Newman and Cure weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tyson Bart, and the three ringside judges are Charles Wardrop, Rob Spade and Zachary Sinton.  

Round 1:
