Ian Polson vs Esteban Villanueva

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 05/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Poison Ian Polson (21(20) - 0) who hails from Oceanside, USA and Esteban Villanueva(29 - 25(20) - 1) from Medellin, Colombia.  Both Polson and Villanueva weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Alec Lochridge, Dillon Ireland and Davie Home.  

Round 1: 

Villanueva connects with a left hook.  
Villanueva lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Polson lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Villanueva almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Polson attempts to land a cross, but Villanueva slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Villanueva pivots to the right of his opponent.  Villanueva tries to land a jab, but Polson sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Villanueva's body.  
Polson gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Polson throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Polson's body.  
Polson closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to Villanueva's ribs.  
Polson walks his opponent into the red corner.  Polson throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Polson pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Polson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Polson attempts to land a right hook, but Villanueva blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Polson's body.  
Polson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Villanueva throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Polson lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Villanueva throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a DESTRUCTIVE right hook.  VILLANUEVA IS HURT!  
Polson throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  Villanueva now seems to have his senses back.  
Polson attempts to land a right uppercut, but Villanueva blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Polson's ribs.  
Villanueva connects with a cross.  
Villanueva quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Polson lands a stinging cross.  
Villanueva is on target with a right hook.  
Villanueva attempts to land a left uppercut, but Polson sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Polson is on target with a sharp cross.  
Polson gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Polson hits home with a left hook.

Polson manouvers Villanueva onto the ropes.  Villanueva attempts to land a left uppercut, but Polson sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Polson closes the distance and DETONATES a DEVASTATING right hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE VILLANUEVA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Polson senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Polson lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS VILLANUEVA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Polson closes the distance.  Polson lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND SENDS VILLANUEVA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Polson lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS VILLANUEVA TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Villanueva the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Polson!
