Joshua Aye vs Yago Valenciano

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 05/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Sky Aye (26(18) - 1(1)) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Yago Valenciano(25(17) - 4(2)) from Holguin, Cuba.  Both Aye and Valenciano weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Ireland, Alec Lochridge and Davie Home.  

Round 1: 

Valenciano hits home with a stinging jab.  
Aye lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Aye throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Aye drives a right hook into Valenciano's body.  
Valenciano switches the action to the outside.  Aye lands a straight 1 - 2.

Valenciano lands a jab to his opponents body.  Valenciano attempts to land a cross, but Aye blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Aye gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aye lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Aye lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Valenciano pivots to the left of his opponent.  Valenciano tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Valenciano lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Valenciano snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aye's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Valenciano's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Aye gets on the inside.  Valenciano is on target with a right hook.  
Valenciano attempts to land a right hook, but Aye slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Aye gets on the inside.  Valenciano lands a left hook.  
Aye lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Aye tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Aye's body.  
Aye manages to force Valenciano into the corner.  Aye drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Aye steps inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Valenciano quickly recovers. 
Aye lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Aye lands a VICIOUS left hook.  VALENCIANO IS HURT!  
Aye manouvers Valenciano into a corner.  Valenciano could be stopped here, if Aye can find the right shot!  Aye lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND VALENCIANO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Valenciano now seems to have got his legs back.  
Aye lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Aye is on target with a left hook.  
Aye advances into close range.  Valenciano is on target with a right hook.  
Valenciano is on target with a jab.  
Aye steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Aye manouvers Valenciano into the corner.  Aye lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Aye could be enough to force the stoppage!  Aye lands a CRUSHING right hook.  VALENCIANO IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT VALENCIANO CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Aye!
