Montrell Deumi vs Akira Kumagai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Hachioji City Art & Cultural Hall, Hachioji,  taking place on 14/10/2036:

Clearly AI Japan-Tokyo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montrell Deumi (36(33) - 0) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Akira Kumagai(8 - 3 - 3) from Himeji, Japan.  Deumi weighed in at 200 pounds, while Kumagai weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Eiji Mizuno, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Ide, Yuichi Abe and Dai Ishikawa.

Deumi lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Deumi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Deumi lands with a spiteful jab.  
Deumi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kumagai recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Deumi feints a jab, tricking Kumagai into throwing a left hook counter.  Deumi avoids the shot and counters with a mean right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE KUMAGAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Deumi thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Kumagai away.  Deumi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING KUMAGAI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Kumagai now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Kumagai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Deumi lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kumagai's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kumagai's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Kumagai's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
