Valentino Palomba vs Vico Maffeo

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Adolfo Secchia Gym, Catania,  taking place on 24/09/2036:

Clearly Sikatana Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Valentino Palomba (13 - 10 - 5) who hails from Messina, Italy and Vico Maffeo(11 - 15 - 3) from Catania, Italy.  Both Palomba and Maffeo weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rocco Galati, and the three ringside judges are Mauro Cavallari, Colombo Masotti and Gianmarco Folena.  

Round 1: 

Palomba voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Maffeo is whaling away with hooks, but Palomba keeps his defence tight.
